I love the great outdoors and have at one time lived a rancher's life joint owning 35 horses in Arizona. I've herded cattle and raced barrels. I love the West and all that it represents. Having lived alongside the Navajo Reservation in Arizona I've had a hand in building hogans and herding sheep. These experiences are relived in my Western and equine art.
My Civil War work is referenced from the re-enactments that I frequent. The Celtic influence comes from a study of my husband's Scottish ancestry and a love for all things Celtic. This last year I helped organize the Tilbury Event, a Tableau Vivant of costumed models from the 1600s on.
