The Celtic influence comes from a study of my husband's Scottish ancestry and a love for all things Celtic. This last year I helped organize the Tilbury Event, a Tableau Vivant of costumed models from the 1600s on. I continually search out events that would add to this favorite subject of mine. I was the resident portrait artist at the Washington State Renaissance Fair for three years and some of the paintings here are work that I did then.
